Project · Control4, lighting and whole-home music
Art on the wall, sound in the ceiling.
A Samsung Frame TV that hangs like a framed print on dark shiplap, speakers you only notice when the music starts, and Control4 running the lights and music for the whole house. We handled every part of the install, and the technology fits the design instead of fighting it.
The Frame TV wall
Art mode
When it's off, it's a framed photograph.
Flat to the wall
Mounted tight to the shiplap like a picture frame.
What we did
A TV that doesn't look like a TV.
A big black rectangle can take over a room. The Frame shows art when nobody is watching, so the wall stays part of the design.
- Frame TV on the feature wall. A light wood frame against charcoal shiplap, centered over a live-edge bench.
- Mounted like a picture. The One Connect box is hidden in the cabinet to the left, so the TV sits flat against the wall with nothing hanging below it.
- Music throughout the house. In-ceiling speakers in the family room, the primary bath and the rest of the home, all but invisible overhead.
- Control4 runs it all. Lighting control, music and the TV work from one system, with the equipment in a rack instead of on display.
Hidden speakers
Family room
Look closely: the speaker is the white circle by the beam.
Primary bath
Music for the morning routine, out of the way of the steam.
Thinking about a Frame TV?
We'll help you pick the size, the frame color and the spot on the wall, then mount it so it looks like art from day one.
